Hi David.
I just wanted to post to for everyone to enjoy:

A little inspiration regarding THE TRUE MEANING of the
Christmas Season . . .

Men scoff at miracles, "They cannot be, they say;
"Christ was not born of Mary; there could be no virgin birth.
'Tis but a lovely legend of the Creator come to earth."
And yet I heard the bells of Bethlehem
ring out this Christmas Day,
And the chiming of their ringing, my friend,
was ten thousand miles away.

================================

Men travel bravely by a thousand roads,
Some broad and lined with palaces; some steep
And hard and lonely, some that blindly twist
Through tangeld jungles where there is no light;
And mostly they are traveled thoughtlessly.
But once a year an ancient question comes
To every traveler passing on his way,
A question that can stab and burn and bless:
"Is this the road that leads to Bethlehem?"

~ THE AWESOME PRICE OF THE INCARNATION ~

" I would not choose the slums of Calcutta for my vacation or
place of vocation or calling. There were, it should be said,
extraordinary people who worked among the deformity and
squallor and decay of leper colonies some 150 years ago,
- but that is certainly not where most of us would want to live
out our lives.

~ Now think about this carefully: Multiply the distance between
where you and I live now and those places by 1000 and you still
do not come near the awful distance travelled by the Son of God
when He humbled Himself to live among fallen and sinful men."

- quoted from Rev.John Sartelle
MESSIAH AND HIS MISSION.

============================

He was born to suffer and die...that we might live
eternally forgiven and blest.

Come, let us adore Him . . .

===================================

Have a blest and wonderful Christmas/New Year Season.

Let us live for Him
with all of our hearts.
